By signing this application form, you (the "Client") agree to the following terms and conditions for the rental of the event venue (the "Venue") owned by [Your Business Name]:
1. Reservation & Payment
- A refundable security deposit of $1000 is required at the time of booking to secure the venue for the event date.
- The remaining balance is due before the event date. If payment is not received by the due date, the reservation may be canceled.
- Accepted methods of payment include Zelle, Debit, Credit, and Cash.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
- If the Client cancels the event more than 7 days before the event, a partial refund of 50% will be given, excluding the deposit.
- Cancellations made within 4 days of the event will forfeit the deposit and any additional payments made.
- In the event of a venue closure or force majeure, a full refund of all payments will be provided to the Client.
3. Venue Use
- The Client agrees to use the Venue only for the purpose described in the event application.
- The Client is responsible for the conduct of guests and any damages caused to the Venue or property during the event.
- No smoking, open flames, or illegal substances are allowed inside or on the Venue premises.
- Any decorations, food, or beverages brought into the Venue must comply with local health and safety regulations.
4. Insurance & Liability
- The Client agrees to maintain adequate insurance coverage for the event.
- MAYENS PLACE is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage sustained by the Client or their guests during the event. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold [Your Business Name] harmless for any such occurrences.
5. Facility Access & Setup
- The Client will be given access to the Venue [X hours] prior to the event start time for setup and [X hours] after the event for breakdown.
- All items, equipment, or decorations brought into the Venue must be removed at the conclusion of the event. [Your Business Name] is not responsible for any items left behind.
6. Additional Charges
- Any damage to the Venue or property will result in additional charges for repairs or replacements.
- Any additional services requested outside of the initial booking (e.g., additional staff, extended hours, extra equipment) will incur additional fees.
7. Compliance with Laws
- The Client agrees to comply with all local laws and regulations, including health, safety, and noise ordinances.
